DEAR FRIENDS!

As you can see on the right side of the blog you’ve got the “RADIO FOLCH i TORRES”.
If you click in the radio link, you will listen to our students talking about different things. They use English language as a common vehicle of expression

The “Radio” is an example of how new technologies are helping us in this project, making communication possible. With them, we aim to enhance pupil’s motivation, social skills and self-confidence.

As we also include in this project each cultural heritage of our countries. We are immersed in a word of languages, so the last post in our radio, as you can see, is OUR TILY SONG in German, from AUSTRIA, and in CATALAN from BARCELONA in Spain. Soon you will listen to it in other languages!!!

The Making of Steinella...

The boys of the 3. Klasse AND the teacher... like to create new figures for our BLOG.

Reading project

For two weeks there is a special reading aloud project during break in our school.
Because some of our parents do not have the time to read to their children, or they can not read themself, five teachers have desided to read to small groups of children during breaktime.
The children enjoy plenty of these sessions.
There are scary stories, magical stories, funny stories, and Tily listens and likes the soft voices that excites his imagination.

Project ART WINDOWS

Here you can see some of the artwork the children made on the art day on january 8th. The results ware magnificent.
Now all of the works are hanging in the windows of the shops in the shopping street near to our school. It is a real exhibition. So everbody can see our work and it makes the children very proud.

Teacherexchange: Austria Visits Spain

On Friday, 29th of January, we closed our school for one week for semester break, so Mr. Martin Frischauf and Mr. Wolfgang Bock drove directly to the airport of Vienna to fly to Barcelona - what a wondeful city!!!

So on Wednesday we had to fly home again, with so many impressions, facts and pictures in our luggage, what a wonderful visit!!!
