The youngest children of 6 years went out with a guide.
He taught them to watch birds with binoculars.
Then they looked for ducks and geese on the canal.
The canal was frozen.
There were also water chickens.
It was very cold.
Tily squeaked out of the pocket of the teachers coat but he stayed down there because it was so cold
